Eric is a life-long resident of the Town of Arena where he and his wife Jan live in a 100+ year-old farmhouse built by Eric’s great-grandfather. This is where Eric and Jan raised their five children, Luke (Ellie), Lauren, Lindsey (Ben), Leah and Caleb. They were the fifth generation on the farm.
Eric graduated from River Valley High School in Spring Green and UW-Madison where he earned a BS in Meat and Animal Science.
Eric works as an ag lender with The Peoples Community Bank in addition to cash cropping the farm. The farm is mainly irrigated and crops include corn, soybeans, wheat, potatoes and seed corn.
Eric has served in a number of volunteer positions over the years in church, community and ag organizations. This includes being licensed as an EMT for over 20 years running with Arena EMS, where he always appreciated the care and expertise provided by the staff at the Sauk Prairie Hospital Emergency Department.
