Janelle Hupp, MD - Prairie du Sac

Board of Directors

As a well-known care provider, Dr. Hupp brings a uniquely valuable perspective to the board. She is tireless with her contributions and her time.

Dr. Hupp serves on the Foundation Board Fundraising and Stewardship Committees, as well as the Grants and Gifts Committee.

Dr. Hupp graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1995 and completed her residency at West Salem Hospital in Oak Park in 1998. She worked as a family practice physician at Sandwich Medical Clinic before joining the Sauk Prairie Healthcare family in 2004.

Dr. Hupp is a past President of the Sauk Prairie Healthcare Medical Staff and remains active on several of their committees: Executive, Med/ICU, Bylaws, Patient Care, Pediatrics and Women's Health Steering Team. Dr. Hupp has been SPH’s Employee Health Physician and has been involved with the Board of Director’s Medical Staff Relations Committee. She is a current member of the grievance committee for Quartz Insurance and serves as the medical director for District One EMS.

Dr. Hupp lives in Prairie du Sac with her husband, Marv, who works with at-risk students in the Sun Prairie School District. They have two daughters, Elisabeth and Sarah.
