As a nurse, educator and small business owner, Mary Beth brings valuable skills to the board.
Mary Beth served as a Navy nurse for 21 years. When she retired, she moved back to her home state of Wisconsin. Retirement didn’t last long and she worked as the School Nurse in the Wisconsin Heights School District for eight years. Mary Beth and husband Doug fell in love with the Wisconsin Heights area and moved to Mazomanie in 2011. Mary Beth serves on the school board at Wisconsin Heights and is a member of the Mazomanie 2020 committee. Upon retiring from the school district, Mary Beth opened Base Camp Café in downtown Mazomanie to help renew the historic downtown.
Mary Beth graduated from UW-Madison, earning degrees in Nursing, Curriculum and Instruction as well as earning a Principal Certificate. Mary Beth has three children spread across the country in Oklahoma, Nebraska and California. Her husband Doug works as an Urgent Care physician for SSM Health.
