Because your needs in an emergency are immediate, Sauk Prairie Healthcare
offers 24/7 care provided by our highly trained staff.
Our emergency department physicians and ACLS certified nurses treat a wide
spectrum of conditions that can be routine to life-threatening. We are
a Level-III Trauma Center, so we are able to care for patients with moderate
trauma and stabilize severe trauma patients in preparation for transport
to a higher-level trauma center.
Patients requiring other specialized care or advanced procedures not available
at Sauk Prairie Hospital are transferred to the appropriate tertiary care
center, generally in Madison.
