Individualized Infusion Therapy Close to Home

For those in need of infusion therapy (also called IV therapy), Sauk Prairie Healthcare offers a high level of care in a comfortable, friendly environment, with the added convenience of not having to travel into Madison. Our highly trained RNs and pharmacists are specialists in infusion therapy, titration, continuous patient monitoring, and care of critically ill patients. We work closely with each patient’s provider to ensure exceptional individualized care to optimize patient health.

Types of Infusion Therapy Offered

Infusion therapy puts a fluid or medication into a patient’s vein. Following are the types of infusions we provide:

• Covid antivirals
• Fluid hydration

• Central line care and port access
• Infusions for migraines, iron and electrolyte supplements, osteoporosis, rheumatology, nephrology, gastroenterology, neurology, and more

What to Expect with IV Therapy

The length of your visit will depend on the medication you receive, but appointments can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over 6 hours. Please ask when you schedule your appointment. While you’re visiting, you’ll have access to the following amenities:

• Television and wifi
• Reclining chairs and beds
• Large waiting area
• First floor level access
• Full menu for purchase and delivery from cafeteria
• Meal provided for infusions >4 hours
• Wheelchair assistance
