Sauk Prairie Healthcare’s Respiratory Services department offers Pulmonary Rehabilitation for patients who may be able to improve their quality of life. The goal of pulmonary rehabilitation is for a person with lung disease to be able to do daily activities with less shortness of breath. This program uses exercise and education to teach participants how to live better with their disease through working with a team of medical professionals specially trained in treating patients with lung disease.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation typically includes two sessions a week for 8 to 12 weeks or longer if recommended by your physician.
Many insurance companies cover pulmonary rehabilitation. Sauk Prairie Healthcare will work with your insurance company to determine if you are eligible for coverage of this service. Sauk Prairie Healthcare accepts most commercial insurances, including HMOs, Unity, Dean Care, The Alliance, Physicians Plus, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
