Parent Support

Baby Connection Support Group

Our Baby Connection offers a comfortable environment to help expecting parents, those with newborns and infants, and other caregivers connect, learn, and ask questions, whether it may be about parenthood, newborn topics, breastfeeding support, mental health, or just wanting to be in a like-minded community. It’s also an opportunity to meet with some of the experts from Sauk Prairie Healthcare’s Birth Center team, including our certified lactation counselors, and occasional guest speakers.

Join other parents and caregivers who have the same questions you do or who are happy to share their knowledge and experiences. You’ll get answers to your questions in a relaxed, comfortable setting:

  • I’m pregnant, what should I expect?
  • I’m having some issues breastfeeding, what can I do?
  • I want more information about pumping and feeding my baby.
  • What can I do to continue to breastfeed when I go back to work?
  • How long should I breastfeed? When should I start solids?
  • I’m struggling with my mental health, what are some things I can do? (non-medical intervention)

Feel free to drop in during this casual, family-friendly time. All parents and caregivers are welcome, even if you didn’t deliver at Sauk Prairie Hospital and regardless of your feeding method. You can also bring other family, including baby’s big brothers and sisters.

2nd Monday of the month
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
George Culver Community Library
615 Phillips Blvd., Sauk City
